The second project of the Harness Projects UX program was to conduct UX Research for YourFoodCollective, an Australian company that focuses on fresh, organic and environmentally friendly food that delivers to your door. Looking to expand their business to focus more on a subscription based model, we students were asked to research their customers, and make recommendations on how to improve their current subscription. This project was solely focused on research, so I was interested in improving my interviewing skills, and challenge my mind to think of non-digital improvements to a business as well.

THE CLIENT

Your Food Collective is an Online Grocery Offering that allows you to purchase directly from local producers. They select producers that are local and grow sustainably and work with growers who grow with respect for the land and the systems that support it. This means their growers are regenerating life across their farms.

OBJECTIVE

Conduct research with Your Food Collective’s target audience and make recommendations on how their subscription service can be improved to drive stronger uptake and retention.

Subscription = “Set and Forget”, where customers have an option to make an order automatically occurring on a weekly basis.
